I looked for places I could stop between San Francisco and Bend, needing to arrive by Wednesday for Thanksgiving. Mount Shasta came up, I booked two nights (for the first time using Airbnb's Room feature (here's the place) to save money, and having a sense that being in a shared space might be nice.
The host: "Donna is a Yoga & Aqua Yoga Therapist & Latin American Spiritual Retreat Guide" felt promising—that the pace of this home would be gentle, sensitive, loving, warm. The water she drinks and shared comes from a sacred source.
